What does an eco-friendly direct cremation involve?
At Best Price Cremations Perth, we bring your loved one into our care, complete the required arrangements and organise a private cremation without an attended funeral service.
Our approach combines a recycled cardboard Daisybox coffin, no embalming, cosmetic or mortuary preparation, and an electric vehicle charged exclusively through our own solar and battery system.

Can we personalise the Daisybox coffin?
Yes. A Daisybox can be decorated with personal messages, drawings and photographs, creating a farewell that reflects your loved one.
If you would like to collect and decorate the coffin, please speak with our Perth funeral home before making arrangements. We can explain the available options, any additional cremation costs and which materials are suitable for cremation. Glass, batteries and other unsuitable items must not be placed inside or attached to the coffin.
Eco-friendly cremations still have an environmental impact
Cremation uses energy and produces emissions. A cardboard coffin and solar-powered vehicle do not remove that impact, but they are practical choices we make alongside simpler arrangements and fewer vehicle movements.
